Joe Sharino Band
Winner of 15 Best Band Awards in Northern California!
If you want to know about good bands in the Bay
Area of California, one band consistently tops the list. When I was
new to the Bay Area, I had nothing to do one Sunday and thought I'd
wander over to and Art and Wine Festival near my house. As I walked
through the festival, I felt myself drawn to the music I heard in
the distance. I came across a covered pavilion filled with adoring
fans, up on their feet and dancing to the sounds of the band on the
stage. Before that first song ended I knew I was in for a treat.
There were four members of the band. And as I listened, I found
myself moving to the music as I stood there on the side of the stage
all by myself. Their timing was flawless. The sound level was
perfect. What amazed me most was the way they had of moving from one
style into the next and into the next without skipping a beat and
without losing anyone from the dance floor. Actually it seemed that
the entire pavilion was the dance floor. They moved from Swing to
Classic to Old School including other styles and they just
completely blew me away. And now, I don't miss a chance to see
See their website at http://jsband.com for information and upcoming performance dates. They do many festivals nd public events that are free.

Joe knew at age 9 that he
wanted to be a musician. In February of 1964, he saw The Beatles on
the Ed Sullivan Show. And he knew right then what he wanted to do
when he grew up. He thought then that it was just a dream and he'd
never really do it. But, started playing music then and he's still
doing it! He's amazing and proof that if you stick with your dreams,
great things will happen!

Mark has toured all over the U.S. and is a great showman. Mark played instruments as a kid and knew by about 12 that he wanted to stick with it.

Joe and David met as teenagers and were in bands together then. After several years of Joe performing solo in the 1970's, David joined him on the drums.
